DAY 1: ARRIVE KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT –  TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK  

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met and drive to Tarangire National Park, arrive for lunch at Nyikani Tarangire Camp, afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife.

Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most commonly spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing.

Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breath taking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south.

Overnight: Nyikani Camp Tarangire

Nyikani Camp Tarangire is located in Tarangire National Park. The camp’s design has a termite mound theme with organic features and structures found throughout the campsite. Enjoy gourmet Swahili cuisine from our highly trained chefs!

A 45-minute drive from the main gate, this camp is located in a less crowded area of the park with excellent access to the river, swamp and other regions. Nyikani Camp Tarangire offers an extraordinarily comfortable and intimate atmosphere in the middle of Tanzania’s wilderness!

DAY 3: NYIKANI CAMP CENTRAL SERENGETI, EASTERN SERENGETI      

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park game drive en route with picnic lunch, arriving at Nyikani Camp Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight

The rich acacia-dotted plains of the Eastern Serengeti are home to abundant wildlife. Visitors flock here to view the world-renowned wildebeest migration. Some of the best game-viewing can be enjoyed from Lobo on the eastern edge of the Serengeti National Park along the Grumeti River. Popular activities include: taking a guided walk through the spectacularly scenic terrain of the wild Serengeti, jumping on a hot air balloon safari, picnics in the bush, and learning about Maasai culture and history. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the world famous Gol Kopjes for the best cheetah viewing in Africa.

Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti together with Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park form Africa’s most famous wildlife park.  The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many, and then add a Masai warrior and some cattle to the picture, and the conversation need go no further. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. 

But that is not where the game viewing ends; large prides of lions, elephants and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles and eland to mention but a few. Aside from traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Serengeti plains has become almost essential, and you can even do a horse riding safari.

Overnight: Nyikani Camp Central Serengeti           

Nyikani Camp Central is located in Central Serengeti, taking advantage of the year-round wildlife, Serengeti is Tanzania’s most renowned national park and home to the greatest concentrations of large mammals on the planet.

Designed to be a haven of luxury amidst nature, the camp offers 12 double en-suite guest tents and one family tent with two en-suite bathrooms. All tents are cosy in design and feature a power extension with a universal adapter, writing desk, digital safe and a private shaded veranda overlooking breathing views.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO FARM HOUSE, KARATU        

After breakfast drive to Karatu area via Ngorongoro Conservation area, game drive route with picnic lunch, arriving at Ngorongoro Farm House in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Travellers heading for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater will pass through the town of Karatu in the green hills of Tanzania’s northern highlands. Presided over by the towering Ol Deani Volcano, this small, colourful town serves as a popular overnight stop for visitors exploring the area’s many game parks. The town offers a variety of activities including browsing the bustling marketplace, sampling beer at a local brewery, visiting a traditional homestead, or taking a guided walk through the Ngorongoro Forest in search of waterfalls and caves.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House

DAY 6: NGORONGORO FARM HOUSE, KARATU         

Full day Ngorongoro crater tour with picnic lunch, late afternoon drive back to Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife; which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. It is famed as one of Tanzania’s best tourist attractions offering visitors an array of wonderful activities including excellent bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking and visiting a local Maasai village. DAY 7: END OF ITINERARY    

After breakfast drive to Arusha arrive for lunch, after lunch you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight back home.

Or After lunch in Arusha, you may decide to extend you stay to the Spice Island of Zanzibar where you will relax on the beautiful beach for couple of days, then fly back home.
