Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be met and drive to Tarangire National Park, arrive for lunch at Nyikani Tarangire Camp, afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most commonly spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breath taking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south.
Overnight: Nyikani Camp Tarangire
Nyikani Camp Tarangire is located in Tarangire National Park. The camp’s design has a termite mound theme with organic features and structures found throughout the campsite. Enjoy gourmet Swahili cuisine from our highly trained chefs!

Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti, together with Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park, form Africa’s most famous wildlife park. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomizes Africa for many, and then add a Masai warrior and some cattle to the picture, and the conversation need go no further. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet, with more than a million animals following the rains. But that is not where the game viewing ends; large prides of lions, elephants, and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles, and eland, to mention but a few. Aside from traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Serengeti plains has become almost essential, and you can even do a horseback safari.
Overnight: Nyikani Camp Central Serengeti
Nyikani Camp Central is located in Central Serengeti, taking advantage of the year-round wildlife. Serengeti is Tanzania’s most renowned national park and home to the greatest concentrations of large mammals on the planet.
Designed to be a haven of luxury amidst nature, the camp offers 12 double en-suite guest tents and one family tent with two en-suite bathrooms. Yes, we do arrange this. Please send your request to Safari.
The safari trips have public bathroom facilities. In case you have to go and there isn’t one in sight. Relieving behind the vehicle is a good option. of course with the concurrence of your guide. They are sympathetic to nature’s calls.
Stay in the vehicle unless you have clearance from the guide to walk or stretch your legs. If you are keen on hiking, there are guided walks that are available in Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro.
Tanzania is very near to the equator. So the sun is always at its acme for most of the day. The sun can be fierce and cause sunburns and sunstroke. Wear a hat, shades, and use SPF sunblock lotion.
Any health or medical emergency will be attended to. If the condition requires hospitalization, you will be evacuated to the nearest hospital immediately. Make sure you have the travel and health insurance cover. It’s highly recommended.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, celiac, lactose-free, or if you have any allergies, just give us a heads up and you will be catered to.
Delicious and fulfilling food.For breakfast and lunch. Carry power bars too for that instant energy. On the safari, you will be using a lot of energy. Calories are vital.
They are pretty common. Though sighting one is not a pretty thought. But on safaris atop a vehicle, they are not an issue. While on a walking safari, wear boots when venturing into bushes or woodlands. Use full trousers and long-sleeved shirts to protect yourself from mosquitoes and other fly bites. In the bushes, they are a pestilence. Use insect repellent to keep them at bay.
Bumpy on the safari circuits and the game drives. If you have a back condition then take precautions with back braces, pillows or whatever works for you.

Depends on which park you have chosen in your itinerary. Every park has a distinct character, topography and the animals with attitude. If it’s Serengeti then enjoy the endless savannahs and Big 5. Tarangire’s offerings are a semi-arid landscape with majestic baobabs with no shortage of wildlife. Including the Big 5 in a day
Yes. Bear in mind they are wild and unpredictable. The thought restrains you from getting too adventurous on hands-on when you cross paths with a wild animal. Attacks are rare but discretion is a better part of valor. Exercise caution. Remember it’s their territory and you are the intruder.
Big yes! You can also carry your drinking water bottle in your backpack. The safari vehicles are equipped with a small refrigerator to keep the drinks of your choice chilled for you to enjoy during your safari. Beverages, beer, and soft drinks are also available.
