DAY 1: ARRIVE AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – LEGENDARY LODGE, ARUSHA     

Day Itinerary

Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport, after clearing customs and immigration formalities you will be met and transferred to Legendary lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Legendary Lodge

Legendary Lodge is located at the foothills of Mount Meru, on the outskirts of the bustling town of Arusha and is the gateway to the Northern Safari Circuit of Tanzania. This classic haven boasts lush tropical gardens and is surrounded by a working coffee farm. The peaceful cottages are the perfect place to prepare for or reflect on your safari.

Featuring intimate living, king size beds with mosquito nets and all the comforts of a modern home, including satellite television, direct dial telephone, broadband internet and a private bar. DAY 2: LITTLE CHEM CHEM, CHEM CHEM CONCESSION

Day Itinerary

After breakfast transferred to Arusha airport for a scheduled flight Arusha/Kuro airstrip, upon arrival at Kuro airstrip you will be met by Little Chem Chem driver guide and drive to Chem Chem , you will have game drive en route, arriving for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon you will have activities at  Chem Chem concession area which includes game drive, guided walking safari .

The Chem Chem concession lies in the renowned migration corridor between the famed Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks, covering over 20 000 hectares. The landscapes here are characterized by vast grasslands dotted with ancient baobab trees, inhabited by a variety of wildlife including herds of elephant, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas, and over 400 species of bird.

Visitors can look forward to dining under the African night sky, day and night wildlife safaris, and visiting a traditional Maasai village. Other popular activities include horse riding, bird watching, fishing, guided bush walks, 4×4 trails, hiking, picnicking, and game drives.

Overnight: Little Chem Chem           

Known as the ‘sunrise camp’, Little Chem Chem is situated on the edge of an acacia forest and is renowned for the abundance of elephants in the area. Lying in a 16 000ha Wildlife Management Area adjacent to Tarangire National Park, the camp is surrounded by the characteristic landscape of the Tarangire River with its impressive baobab trees and overlooks the freshwater lake, Lake Burunge.

The Babati mountain range offers a magnificent backdrop to the south-west, with the distant hills of Tarangire visible to the north-east. The atmosphere at Little Chem Chem is welcoming, elegant and oozing authenticity of a bygone era. The luxury of sharing 16 000ha with only 20 guests each night sets the ideal stage where you can perfectly blend into the wilderness.

Lions roam the camp and call each other at night; stately elephants march down to Lake Burunge to get a sprinkling of fresh water; cheetahs hunt on the plains facing the lake; leopards, eland and lesser kudu can be seen in the denser woods in the inner part of the concession. DAY 3: LITTLE CHEM CHEM, CHEM CHEM CONCESSION  

Day Itinerary

After breakfast you will have a full day  game drive in Tarangire National Park / Chem Chem concession area, you will also have an opportunity to visit Masai village for a cultural tour .

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most commonly spotted animal.

It is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breath-taking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south.

DAY 4: ANDBEYOND NGORONGORO CRATER LODGE, NGORONGORO CRATER  

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, you will have morning at Chem Chem Concession area, afternoon you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Crater lodge for dinner and overnight.

Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife; which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. It is famed as one of Tanzania’s best tourist attractions offering visitors an array of wonderful activities including excellent bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking and visiting a local Maasai village. After breakfast, descend down the Ngorongoro crater for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch. Late afternoon ascends back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Lake Manyara airstrip for a scheduled flight Manyara/Kogatende. Upon arrival at Kogatende airstrip you will be met by Serengeti Bushtops drive guide for game drive.

Located between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north, the Northern Serengeti is a remote African wildlife wonderland. The vast, rolling savannah of the Northern Serengeti, is known as the hub of the great migration. The landscape is characterised by vast stretches of savannah interspersed with acacia trees and riverine woodlands.

Wildlife can be seen along the banks of the Mara River and visitors can view the annual spectacle of the half a million-migrating wildebeest. Day Itinerary

After breakfast you will be transferred to Kogatende airstrip for a scheduled flight Kogatende/Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha airport you will be met and transferred to Arusha town for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight back home.

Or After lunch in Arusha, you may decide to extend you stay to the Spice Island of Zanzibar where you will relax on the beautiful beach for couple of days, then fly back home.
